Just one, not four climaxes in Raavan: Abhishek Bachchan
Actor Abhishek Bachchan has denied reports claiming that director Mani Ratnam has shot four climaxes for their much awaited film Raavan.
The film's premise has been kept a secret and according to reports Ratnam has kept even the unit members guessing by shooting four climaxes for Raavan which will release simultaneously in both Tamil and Hindi.
"I know that Mani has never re-shot a scene in his life let alone four climaxes," said Bachchan at the music launch of the film in Mumbai on Saturday.
The 34-year-old actor made it clear that Raavan is not inspired or based on the epic Ramayan.
"Raavan is a contemporary film. Every film of ours always has little bit of history and mythology and it is wrong to say that the film is inspired or based on them," he said.
Abhishek said the theme "dus sir wale" in the film was to highlight the ten different personalities and facets of his character Beera who is "wild and unpredictable."
Tamil star Vikram, makes his Bollywood debut with the film playing Dev in the Hindi version and Beera in the Tamil version.
Clearing all speculations that all was not well between him and Bachchan during the making of the film, Vikram said that that he was one of the best co-stars he has ever worked with.
"AB is a live wire, the most witty, charming and co-operative co-star I ever worked with," said the Tamil superstar.
