Robin Hood : Prithviraj as robber

Joshie the veteran director in Malayalam is famous for adapting with changes. The director known for his bombastic hits with super star Mammooty is outing this time with youth icon Prithviraj.

Robin Hood is Joshie’s latest project after the super hit multi starrer Twenty 20.

Prithviraj who is successful in both Malayalam and Tamil films is presently doing many ambitious projects.

In this film Prithviraj plays a physics teacher working at an Entrance coaching centre. As every good hero should be, he robs to help the destitute (wow, that’s a new thing at last).

Our hero is skilled in modern technology (Google...) and he robs ATM. Narien acts the role of a private detective named Alexander with eccentric character. He was an IPS officer who throws away his uniform as he needed freedom (truly heroic, isn’t it? Then why in the first place he has done IPS and spends tax payer’s money at the cost of another candidate).

Narien is a good actor, hope he won’t fall into the pit as other actors while portraying eccentric character. Viewers are hoping he does the character with some amount of believability. This will be the first time, after Classmates, Narain and Prithviraj be seen on screen together.

Director Renjith was the first choice to don the private detective role. He opted out as his schedule coincides with his other films.

The dialogue and screenplay of movie is by writers who can grab feminine minds; Sachi – Sethu. They have penned the script for the recent hit, Chocolate.

The movie will have Bhavana in the female lead as a bank manager. Sleepy star Biju Menon dons the role of commissioner. Sai Kumar has the role of an executive in the bank.

Viewers can expect a thriller with all the ingredients of family, comedy sentiments, romance and action from this seasoned director. Trade circles are bullish on this project and are competing to get the film.

Shanta Murali and PK Muraleedharan produce the film under the banner Ananda vision.
